ISESCO: The conference an advance point for achieving sustainable development

Khartoum, (Conference Bulletin) - Representative of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Salah Eddin Gaffari, has underlined the importance of the first international conference on environment that kicked off in Khartoum saying it would be a starting point for drawing avision on conservation of environment and on sustainable development.
Gaffari pointed out to the huge participation in the conference saying it showed the importance people associated to environment and to green belt, saying Sudan enjoys huge potentials that could make it the food basket for the Arab world.
He said ISESCO has put in place a detailed medium range plan in collaboration with member states for support of the sustainable development issues. He said the organization has implemented a number of projects in the Sudan.
