Dean of Forestry Faculty in Sovolen University: it is high time for Use of Renewable Energies

Khartoum, (Conference Bulletin) -The Dean of the Faculty of Forestry Faculty of Sovolen of Slovak Republic, Professor Villiam Pichler, has appreciated the considerable efforts exerted by Khartoum State in the field of environment.
He said he expects such enterprise would be useful in finding solutions for the environmental problems, indicating that experts are behind this great work.
He said in a statement to SUNA, on the side-lines of the First Environment Conference of Khartoum State that he participated in the Environment Conference which was held here last November, adding that they were briefed on the shelterbelts and other environment projects.
He said that the climate change is an important issue and a great challenge, not only for Africa but also for Europe, stressing that the issue of climate change cannot be ignored due to its impact on the life of people.
Prof. Pichler said that time has come to resort to the vital and renewable energy

He said that the issue of environment is given international support by the organizations, especially the United Nations.
He appreciated the good organization of the conference by Khartoum State and its considerable efforts in the environment and climate change fields as well as the effective participation of Sudan at the International Climate Change Conference in Paris.
He hoped that the First Environment Conference of Khartoum State will come out with recommendations conducive to the solution of environment problems
